Mission Statement
West Sound Youth For Christ seeks community transformation through holistic and relational outreach to kids and families of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Our Mission is to bring hope to every young person in our community.
Each month, throughout Kitsap and North Mason Counties, West Sound Youth For Christ engages with kids in schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and local hangouts. Whether at the skate park, the detention
center or coaching a teen mom through the struggles of parenting, Youth For Christ staff and volunteers show the love of Christ in tangible ways. While our faith motivates us to action, our programs are open to young people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Philip Daubenspeck, West Sound YFC
Phil has served at West Sound YFC in a variety of roles since 2005. As the executive director, he leads and manages the organization to carry out the mission. He provides leadership to the teams who gather the resources God provides and who work directly with young people. He works to ensure we accomplish our mission efficiently and is our primary community relations person. 5/2021
